Aerius is a homeless man, living off of the land, and looking for a place to settle. He really only stays in the same place, slaughtering cows and other livestock for food and using the other assorted spoils that they provide for things such as clothing and weapons. He often hides from other intelligent beings because he assumes the worst of them, after he observed a group of humans fighting each other with advanced weaponry. He thinks that advancements and progress in technology is useless and is, one day, going to destroy the planet. He eventually wants to create a farm and settle down, and not have to hunt and gather for food.
He was born to two halfling parents on the island north of Aegrothond. He’s stayed on the island, and to him the island is the entire world. The only glimpse of developed cities or people he’s seen is Aegrothond, or adventures passing through the island. He doesn’t like it when people have conflict, and values other people’s lives and feelings more than his own.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
