Rowan had many brothers and sisters but was closest to her grandmother. Her grandmother was half Wood Elf and half High Elf. She took on many beliefs from both cultures. She believed in the development of wisdom as most high elves did, but when it came to gods, her wood elven heritage took over. She practiced Aspectism. Rowan's grandmother told many stories of the past of Linandria and the things she used to do in her childhood.
As Rowan got a little older she took on both art and writing. She loved to paint the sunsets and sunrises and loved to write little stories for the insects.
Rowan would lay down in the grass with her journal and piece of charcoal to write with. She would lower her head closer to the grass to see the ladybugs. She would imagine what it would be like to be a little ladybug in the grass. She would put her thoughts on the paper.
Her grandmother was always proud of her grandaughter's works of art and writing. She was glad to see Rowan would one day take on both literature and art. She would frame each and every painting on the wall. Rowan would always have a smug look on her face every time she showed a work of art to her grandmother.
20 years later, Rowan has finally reached adulthood, but those years took a toll on Rowan's grandmother. Every living being has to die... Her grandmother had died the day after Rowan's birthday. Rowan took this as an opportunity to make a life of her own. So she left the rest of her family and went out to search for a life of her own. She holds on deeply to her grandmother's words and beliefs.
