Feudalist

A simple yet hard male, Douglas was born to Hanseti parents who taught him all what he now knows. Douglas and his family traveled the world due to the dissolution of the Hanseti lands, becoming nomads. Douglas and his family traversed the lands, Douglas taking in new cultures and teachings from his mother and father and also strangers who they met along the way. His father, a former soldier, taught Douglas how to handle himself in many situations with either his hands, feet or any weapon he could get his hands on. Douglas’ mother taught him how to perform a different art. He was taught how to play the flute and drums, and taught in academics such as history and literature. He was told of his homeland, how it had fallen as a result of numerous scrimmages and raids by the forces of the Undead. 

Douglas grew into a fine young man, taking up some mercenary work as a result of his hunger for battle. His ancestral roots pushed him towards many skirmishes, in which he would display his proficiency with weapons and hand to hand combat, his style being unorthodox and brutal in comparison to the fancy swordplay that he received from many of his opponents. He gained a decent amount of money as a result of his mercenary work, allowing him to travel around. Douglas, however, lost his mother and father as a result of age. This hit him hard: and as such, he quit his job as a mercenary and ventured, continuing the nomadic lifestyle that his parents had begun for him.

As the years progressed, Douglas learnt the ways of many different cultures as a result of his nomadic venture, even keeping a journal as a reminder of the times he spent in these lands. Douglas would go on to seek out further adventure however, and would migrate to the realm of Atlas in search of new peoples, cultures and work.
