    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Breaking rp standards in a way. Having knowledge your character wouldn't have.

Ril grew up in the woods. He grew up in Linandria. That is what he is used to having a bow in hand. His father and mother taught him many of things but one thing he remembers is them teaching him how to use a bow. Sadly Ril's parents died by Orcs. It has troubled him for many years and all he has to remember them by is the abilities they taught him, Archery being the for front. He has tried to keep all the bad suppressed and be kind and good but slowly it has tainted him and has made him more aggressive. He pledged not to kill anything but he broke the pledge not too long ago and it has hunted him. He has drawn away from is friends and began to reflect on his inner self. HE sits only in woods remembering the angry, the pain, everything. He is no longer the calm Elf he once was. He is no longer selfless,  no longer caring, no longer loving. He is hateful and unjust, a powerful killer. But still his heart has good. Good that will be needed in future encounters. He has lived in many of places but at the moment he is traveling throughout, Norland.

Character Race: Wood Elf
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 187
Physical Description: Ril has dark brown hair, almost black. High check bones and a slim jaw like most Elves. He is slim but fit. He dyes is hair it is naturally blond.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
