In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It's where you say something that your character wouldn't necessarily know, Or OOD knowledge.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It's where you roleplay someones character yourself, Not giving them a chance to protect themselves/decide what happens to their characters, Like saying 'Mark chops off Johns arm', That would be Powergaming, Instead you should do 'Mark attempts to cut off

The Story of Alyra Snowdrop Falls:

(This story is in Talar'ikur)

Alyra never knew her parents, for they had died from an unknown cause when she was around 6. She had been raised by her grandmother, She taught Alyra to be kind and thoughtful but, also to stand up for herself and others. She had also taught her to put others first before herself. Alyra could tell her grandmother was... different to the other Snow Elves, she was less harsh, There was also the fact that she was a lot older than the other elves. Her grandmother taught Alyra to fight in both defensive and offensive. When Alyra became 15, She had to go to military training. She had always been a fast learner, she picked up a lot from it as well as make a few new friends. Though, some people frowned upon her because of her habits of lending a large hand to strangers, seeing as most Snow Elves weren't cold to strangers but, they'd certainly keep their distance.

Soon enough she turned 50, While her friends became officers, she did not. She was allowed to become whatever she wanted, which she herself didn't know what to be. She spent most of her days wondering around Talar'ikur or training, most people thought that was weird, seeing as she never took her chance to live life to the fullest like everyone else believed hey did. During one of her aimless wanders through Talar'ikur, she met a man, who was calm but, different from everyone else. The way he spoke was as if he had seen wonders great and far! Alyra ran up to the man and introduced herself whilst bowing, the man did the same " I am Albondiel Skift but, you may call me Skift, My lady. " he spoke. Alyra was surprised, he didn't say his proper name, age or home nation but, instead gave her a first and last name as well as a nickname!

That was one of many meeting between the two, they began to meet frequently and became very close. While Skift hadn't changed much, Alyra became more stubborn, blunt and rash! Though, She was still kind-hearted, intelligent, and knew when to keep her mouth shut. By now, She was age 120. She had picked up many skills and dreams of travelling outside Citadel of Acael. Ever since she was young, She saw magic users travel through Talar'ikur, She admired them. She dreamt of learning to use magic like them but, she has never actually tried.
