Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Fortia nods and sits without relaying a word. "My story is long and troubled, you see, I come from a far-off land filled with mountains and caverns. Unfortunately the village from which I presided in was destroyed after my parents had led it in... that creature. they were both killed by the creature of course, and I was blamed for the damages and banished from the only place I called home. After being shunned by the only ones I trusted. I had no other option but learn to survive, I had found a small pond and with the resources from it I survived. However, my peace did not last. As I ran through the woods once again running from my problems one after the other, this time with a real threat at chase, it was the creature that had chased my parents' prior, and after a long run I had no other option but to jump of a cliff into the on flowing river, after which I arrived here with only one goal, to become strong in order to never lose anything again. In my travels I planned on making allies that would never betray me and foe's whomes efforts would only make me stronger. I planned on building relations and exploring vast lands in search of one thing, the knowledge and strength required to keep climbing and never fall like I had.
