    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when a character has an advantage over another player that does not allow them to respond or create a resistance. An example of powergaming is saying in roleplay chat, "Janieth paralyzed and stabbed Ward before he could fight back."

Faye was born with her 2 brothers in a small town near Haense, but grew up bouncing from town to town since her family was very nomadic. She grew up as a triplet in a large family--the Aeralithes-- and never took her life for granted. She wasn't privileged, but she wasn't poor either. Her parents were attacked by a group of bandits and died while travelling from Atlas to Arcas to start a new life after Atlas was destroyed, and it left her in shambles. She was never quite the same, but she learned to move on. When she turned 14, she began training herself in archery so that if she were ever to fall victim to the same situation her parents did, she could protect herself. She eventually settled in Haense and lives there now. She's a quirkly girl who loves to goof around and have fun whenever she can. She is pretty ditzy/clumsy, but makes up for it by creating jokes out of her falls. She can be very sarcastic and has a bit of a short fuse. She also has light memory loss.

Physical Description: Faye is short and slender. She had brunette hair and miscolored eyes (one brown, one blue). She has freckles sprinkled across her face.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
