Rothgar, born in Kal'Tarak, was a simple guardsmen for Clan Hammerfist. He had a wife named Corra, but about 3 years ago he's wife was killed by an unknown force. Rothgar believing supernatural forces were at work that night decided to find out what happen to his beloved Corra. Vowing that even if the Creator was at work he would make them pay. But fearing his Clans laws he decided to disappear, fearing they would not believe his story.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
