    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Giving yourself abilities defying the physics and world laws without a proper justification or earning such powers through RP. Emotes such as *kills your character* are blatant examples of powergaming.

Myal was born from Marugara, her mother, which she inherited her name from.

Her mother had no lifemate, only seasonal ones, and Myal's father was either forgotten, hidden from Myal, or kept away by Marugara.

Born in the clan of the Yar, despite passing the trial of the Scorpion when she was still so small, Myal remained weak, in fact, weaker than some Half-Orcs breed, which rose many suspicions about Marugara having mated with non-Orcish, and thus, despite all the love Marugara gave Myal in the first place, she began to behave in an abusive manner over Myal. The Elders and Shamans, seeing in that only another proof of Marugara breaking their traditions, preferring to keep Myal away from the ancients for her to learn and taking revenge on her, made Marugara a Whitewash, and thus she was hunted away from the tribe, leaving Myal to the Ancients.

Mostly scared by the stories she was told by her mother over the Shamans and the other Orcs in general, saying they'd eat her or sacrifice her to the Spirits, Myal mainly remained away, and after many discussions with the Shamans and Elders to try to reason her, they got her to sometimes lurk in the shadows of the fire to listen to the stories.

And with time, they finally managed to 'tame' Myal, gaining her confidence back as they made her pass her trials, until she soon reached the age of 18, ready to protect the Orcish kin's future.

 

(I'm not too sure if I'm supposed to join a clan immediately, or rather to relay on a city to join, as lore states you have to join a clan, but that Orcs are mostly nomad, if need arises, I can of course adapt tp this and change. Thank you for reading.)

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

- Your character, although well planned out, must either no longer be a Lak or they must be a Lak. Orcs from clan Lak are traditionally blue and when we asked Lak leaders about your case they said you could join if you were blue. So the choice is up to you and if you need help editing your skin to make it blue then you can reach out to me.

 

What this means is that although your application is good there are still changes that need to be made. You will have 24 hours to make these changes using the [Edit] feature of your post. If you make changes you may message me and I will review your application again. After the 24 hours have passed your application will be either ACCEPTED or DENIED. In the case of a DENIAL you will have to wait 3 hours to attempt to re-apply.
