In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Taking knowledge that you gained from an OOC medium, such as Discord, or the Forums, or OOC chat, and without logic, rhyme, or reason, applying it SUDDENLY to IC, such as hearing about a chest on Discord that someone hid in the dirt, going online, and dig
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing actions onto others, such as in a emote battle, you state that you swung your sword to impale the other person, instantly killing them, taking response out of their control, and declaring the outcome
    Status: Accepted

Having been born rather 'recently' into Elven history, Wood Elven especially, Celairdis was unaware of some of the profound loss her people had endured. She understood most of what she was told, but felt more that she should help her people push forward, rather then dwell on the unchangable. Outward emotion was, to her, unneeded to that which was immovable. Celairdis was born into a family that was more of a Seed related religion, but Celairdis herself felt more inclined to Aspectism, with Cernunnos interesting the upcoming Archer the most. It wasn't that death fascinated her, but rather, it's importance along side her birth. Growing up, all she would hear her parents speak of was how Taynei’Hiylu was gone, and her parents speculating that they would soon die shortly there after. Isolation and exile? It was akin to a death sentence in their eyes. They moved to Laurelin with the rest of their kind all that while ago, believiong in the words that individuality in the Seeds had led to the self destruction of the Wood Elves, or atleast, the 'close call', as they called it. It was because of this schism of her people's history and their choices that led Celairdis more to Aspectism. Nature was a constant. As was the life and death around it. Defending the woods and the creatures it housed within it seemed the more noble and practical choice to make. She had very little interaction with the other races of the realm, but she was definitly fascinated by the stories she heard about them. Humans lived such short lives? How bizarre! How did they cope? The Dwarves? Such a hardy, yet stout race... Were they really that obstinate? Her thoughts on the Orcs and Goblins was shared with the rest of her people however, she didn't approve. They had a vile disgust for nature, so Celairdis held them in simmilar disgust.
