Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Bogle scoff, looking at the hag sitting infront of him. "Highly unlikely, but if you are curious." He pauses and walks towards the empty seat and crosses his legs. He then sigh and looks at the old one infront of him. "I used to live near the city of Norland, in the forest. My parents didnt like life inside the city so they decided to build a cabin", Bogle leans forward, putting his foot onto the ground, zoning out to the world around him. "Sure I didn't meet a lot of people, but it was worth every single moment with them... We even had a family friend come over, I just called him uncle." Bogle chuckles a little, sadness filling his eyes for a moment, then to anger. "That was until we where attacked by theives" Bogle spits on the ground right next to him. "They came with no warning, killed my father and mother right infront of me, I was lucky uncle was visiting because he grabbed me and ran through the forest trying to escape the horrors at that cabin, when uncle thought it was safe, he put me down and gave me my fathers sythe." Bogle leans back into the chair and looks at the ceiling. "I believe we where attacked again, it's all still a bit hazy, but I remember running alone hearing the cries of uncle behind me." Bogle looks back down and stares at the floor, regret overcoming his face. "Ever since then I have been wandering around, doing odd jobs to buy food at the cheapest tavern or home I can find, sometimes even caves if I have to." Bogle stops talking for a bit, he then snaps back into reality and looks at the grandma infront of him blushing "Ah... forgot you where there, sorry... is there any jobs I can do for you?"
