    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming involves the use of real life knowledge in-game, often for the benefit of your own character, but not not gained through roleplay by your character. For example, if a friend announces in Discord that there is an attack on our home and I log in to the game and run to his aid.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming involves attributing unrealistic abilities to your character that gives them an advantage over others. It can also involve a situation where you take an action against another character without giving them time to react, such as "swings sword at the guard and breaks his neck."

Fighel began into the market and raised his gaze to the gentleman. A little taken back by the sudden greeting, the dwarf half-stepped back and shouted in shock, "Oi!" But he got his composure quickly and continued, "I'm tryen' teh sale me bits 'n bobbles...like marbles do yeh?" He rummaged in his sack for the square marbles and poured them into an extended hand for the man to inspect.
