Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Why would I sit with you, hag?" Elandor sneers, his voice dripping with distain. "And an even better question is why would I tell you of my story?" Elandor glances at the hag dismissively, then turns his attention back to the outside.
Elandor was born into a moderately wealthy high elf family. When he turned turned 18 he wanted to go out and see the world. His family however, thought that adventuring was not fit for a high elf from a wealthy family and told him that if he left he would no longer be welcome in the family. He decided to go out anyway and has not returned to his family since.
