After the Great Collapse, a clan of men settled themselves on the colder mountain regions. They were small yet tight, surviving off of hunting and foraging. Chingis was a gifted child of this clan. He was raised to be an excellent marksman, riding his horse and hunting down small and big game. He proved to be loyal to his clan even when the various clans around the region were having disputes. He was like any other during his childhood, running along with friends and feeding on his mother's milk. He was a chubby kid although he soon lost all excess fat in the cold and athletic nature required. He became brave, sturdy and trustworthy and eventually married to a young girl by the time he was 19 and was 16 when the Sedan rebellion happened, word reaching that the House de Joannes were victors. He had two kids, one boy and one girl. It all went beautiful despite the constant disputes with the other clans. They were eating and laughing, it was all that mattered. Until, Chingis was sent to scout the neighbouring lands. A death trap set up by the old aged leader that had envied the man of his wife and perfect family. Chingis was soon circled by horsemen while his wife was being taken away. He was thought to never return again, although a miracle it was he returned to his family to find their settlement burning and scattered with bodies. This was the moment of realization for him. Many years had passed and Chingis lives a nomad, away from central civilisation.
The slanted eyes of Chingis scanned the bazaar that was sprawling with life. Although he not accustomed to this type of place, he had not problem blending in. He heard many conversations and different races. None being new to him he decided to walk to the market. He was stopped by a man, from his looks didn't seem to be struggling. He heard his question and with a simple nod he muttered, "Nothing that concerns you." His gaze burned into the man as he shifted past him gaining ground to the market. He browsed the wears, specifically the composite bows. His pouch was not looking very good and his bow was still in better shape than the ones they were selling. He decided to come back another day.
