Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Seaton stands uneasy at the entrance. Observing the surroundings, the smell of rotting wood and wet moss fill his nose. Leaving him with a bitter expression across his face. "There's not much to tell." He pauses, then sits hesitantly on the cushion "But you've intrigued me, so I will entertain your inquiry."
"I was born in New Valdev, my father was a soldier of the Brotherhood of Saint Karl, but was killed during the the War of Crown and Crozier. My mother shortly passed after falling ill, leaving me to look for work wherever I could find to survive. I worked fields and gathered crops, I assisted blacksmiths with stoking the fires of their hearths, and have been roaming for years trying to find what I want to do with my life. Finally, finding refuge in Numendil." Seaton looks down at a bug crawling across his boot, shuddering, he reaches towards the bug and attempts to flick it off his tattered boot. "I wasn't born into wealth or power like some fortunate souls. We were always poor, but what my father brought in by being a soldier usually supported my mother and I. I never had any siblings and I never knew if I had any other relatives."
Seaton sits and watch esthe candles flicker for a bit. Watching their shadows dance across the tattered tent, as if swaying to a song of tenderness. It reminds him of the gentleness his parents had before they passed. Swaying by the hearth in their home to Mom's voice. Finally, he speaks.
"Recently, I decided to wander around trying to find my place among this world." A grin streaks across his face "Any ideas you old hoot?"
