Nol Shinez was born in Elvenesse to Nyrwe Shinez and Lesren Shinez, their father and mother respectively. His father taught him how to spearfish and how to defend himself from enemies with a spear. The spear is a relatively simple but extremely effective weapon, and Nol Shinez developed a defensive style with it to compensate for his lack of focus on combat. The art of cobbling was taught to him by his mother, and Nol became an adept shoe maker. When he wasn't enjoying the simple lifestyle in the woods, Nol practiced his endurance and sprint. Nol became the fastest runner in their tribe (clan, etc. unfamiliar with what wood elf communities are called. I will catch on), and as well as the primary messenger. Life in his tribe was relatively simple. The elders held the most power and respect, and all the members worked to sustain each other, the sick, and the elderly.
The wood elf showed hesitation when the dapper fellow greeted him, as his relative inexperience with common tongue made him unable to understand what a few of the larger words meant. Nol was only able to piece the sentence together with context clues. Nol answered as truthfully, telling the man he was here for adventure. When the elf turned away from the man, the busy city consumed them. He had not grown accustomed to packed streets of people in a hurry, commotion of vendors and customers haggling, or the fast pace of the city yet. When the elf turned back to the well dress man, he forced a smile and quickly added, "Why, this is...quite a lovely city indeed."
