Endellion grew up rather spoiled and surrounded by wealth thanks to the old money of her mother Pelingal’s prominent Dark Elf family, as well as her father’s constant trade with the East in various exotic and luxury items. Although she was mostly allowed to have what she wanted, she was not given much attention. The closest things to friends she has were other children of foreign merchants who spoke the same languages, but she never fully connected with them despite her attempts to impress them and show off her skills and looks. She spent a lot of time admiring and pairing ornately patterned and fine fabrics from the east with those of the west and trying to make her own combination of the styles. She mostly enjoyed making the embroidered silks into vests, waistcoats, and jackets or tops and then wearing linen shirts and leather pants and boots for comfort. Her manner of dress was always rather tom-boyish but extravagant due to her desire to balance comfort and practicality with outlandish fashion. She often joined various sports’ teams and games the local children were playing, enjoying the challenge of figuring out the chaos with her few words in the Oyashima dialect. When she was about 8 she witnessed a paper and wood house burning and spreading to the other houses, and her love of fire’s beautiful destructive powers grew. She also often admired the samurai and other soldiers training and enjoyed sparring and pretend fighting. When she was around 23 her mother fell ill and decided to return to her family, while her husband would continue his merchant business. Pelingal finally began to give Endellion attention, but focused on trying to calm her streak of risk taking and make her daughter into a much more acceptable young lady. With the help of family and stricter rules, Endellion has matured somewhat but remains rather reckless and rebellious. She has been trying to find ways to learn sword fighting and fire magic, but has been denied by most potential teachers due to her obviously dangerous mindset. Endellion is also trying to learn more about large cities and life on the road, as well as save money and gather supplies so that she can take off on her own one day and enjoy freedom. She has taken a liking to the Orenian Empire’s fashion and culture and is planning to travel through the larger cities in hopes of finding a job, possibly with a gang of some sort or in a more respectable position such as in a tailor’s shop, as an adventurer, or learning pyromancy and sword skills. She hopes to end up in the capital of Helena.
Resources/Citations: Oyashima, a country in the east. I assumed they had a local dialect besides common.
Dark Elves with light blonde and coppery hair. https://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Dark_Elves#Physical_Attributes I assumed as her mother would have light colored hair, Endellion’s father would pass on his red head gene and give her red/orange hair. But If this is not ok, it can be dyed as that is in character for her. Her short height of 4’8 is due to her age and half-race status as I imagine her father and mother being below average height.
Elven heritage pending, but hoping to join: Kyu’Vera or Vanvir

Endellion excitedly secured her bags as she gazed at the skyline of the city. She had finally made it! She was back to actual civilization, and could start her new life as an independent adult, even if she was a bit young for an elf. After making sure she could prevent pickpockets from taking her items (mostly clothes, some tools, and some food), she made her way down the dock and through the fish market to the rest of a bazaar. It was amazing smelling various spices and incenses from around the world after so long at sea and then walking through the smells of dead fish.
Endellion slowed and halted as a man addressed her, appearing as though he was at least of some importance by the way he dressed. “Karin’ayla, sir. Who would you be? I’m actually here for a sort of mix of those things. I’m going to be starting my own life and I hope to be successful in at least three areas. Are you merely being friendly, or are you perhaps interested in being one of my first connections to something useful here? In my experience people only get your attention when they need something. Since I don’t have any solid plans at the moment, I wouldn’t mind lending a hand if there’s coin in it.”
