Born into a traditional family of hunters, he grew up in the Jewel of Elvendom following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the best tracker in his family. His great uncle, a decent alchemist and druidic practitioner always told him the wonders of their ritual practices , their extensive knowledge about healing herbs and devotion to plants, his affection for these stories led him to accept his first hunt, in which the leader would be his great uncle, they would hunt a white bear, his great uncle needed the liver to make one of his recipes. It was the happiest day in the life of the young Grovehowl, he returned home with a couple of scars from the great battle, on which the symbol of his family was tattooed, a fire flower. He kept hunting with his relatives and learning bits about plants, druid history and their marvelous bond with nature from his great uncle, who said that sooner or later he would have to leave those lands in search of knowledge with which to return decades or centuries later on druid and hunting practices elsewhere. And thus, the curiosity and the desire to venture into the unknown, that like his brother before him, he left despite his youth, with the permission of his relatives, but he did towards Arcas, in search of the groves of the druids, as well as new hunting techniques, hunting partners and adventures to tell his beloved ones when returning home.
