Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Redgar answers without hesitating : "Aye Granma, I love telling stories !". He sits with a smile, and continues : "For 20 years I have been raised by my adoptive dwarven family, after my so called "parents" abandonned me. They found me and made me part of their family, teaching me everything I know. Obviously the other folks didn't like having a human in their neighborhood, and the hatred towards me and my family kept on growing over time. A few months ago, a fight broke between my dad and an other neighbor, and my dad got seriously injuried..." He pauses, clenching his fist " I decided I didn't want to be a burden to my family anymore. So now it's a fresh start for me, I don't truly know where I'm going but I know fate will guide me." He stands up : "Now if you'll excuse me I will leave, this isn't the kind of place I aim to settle in. I aim for something bigger."
