She was born in the woods near the capital city of the Elven Dominion, as her parents were fleeing from a troop of Kharajyr, as this specific gathering of Kha's has witnessed her parents recently commit... A MURDER! Her parents decided that they were most likely doomed, and fled to the Halfling community of Dunshire, leaving Darkstalker in the care of a bard named Plip.
When Darkstalker was ten, Plip got kidnapped by a group of Goblin raiders and was taken into slavery in Krugmar. Darkstalker then ran back to the Elven Dominion, having been told by Plip about her parentage. She searched around, asking about anyone who might be her parents, but was met with the fact that her parents were supposed dead.
She went out to a nearby plains far from others, and raised a small farm, living off of what she grew until she was eighteen. Another Goblin raiding party came and burnt down her farm, her escaping with barely the clothes on her back.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
