    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: The use of knowledge past what your character actually knows. You as a person could know information about someone else, but your character has yet to find that out himself in rp. Using this information in rp to your advantage is my vision on metagaming.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is exceeding the capabilities of your character to your own advantage. For example when you're in a tight situation in rp, and to get out, you have to do something that your character, based on your lore and experience, shouldn't be able to do

A young and inexperienced elf, eager to learn more about what he needs to know. He lived with his parents where he didn't get the chance to study. Something always had to be done first in order for him to study, and the materials to learn more were limited to a few books only. He couldn't do much about it in his younger years, but growing up to become almost an adult, he decided it was better to take his leave. He packed his stuff, and moved out to a bigger city. He read about a nation called haelun'or, announcing the founding of Fi'halen to reform Haelun’or in a place for high elves since the fall of Okarn’thilln. He travelled a long way across Arcas in search for the nation as it sounded really promising back then. A lot of questions went through his mind during his travel. Did he make the right choice? What can he achieve in his new life? Looking at the gate of haelun’or, his adventure began.

Character Race: High Elf
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 44
Physical Description: A formal looking elf. A bit below average elf height. Brown hair, blue eyes and an hoodie. Clothing in the colors black, blue and silver.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
