    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I avoid it by placing myself in other peoples shoes and asking myself if they have any say in the matter. Example: "I choke you to death." <-powergaming "I try to choke you to death." <-not powergaming.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Knowing something you don't know. Example: "I walk over to [Character] who is hiding" <-metagaming "I don't notice [Character], I don't walk over" <-not metagaming

Physical Description: Hight: 5'7", weight: 70kg, Hair: diluted brown, eyes: brown, he wears some headwear resembling a happy ghast harness/goggles.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*sits* My story? well, it's not much, just a traveling merchant. I've seen my fare share of questionable characters, but hey, as long as they have money, I ain't complaining. I started my career a bit younger than usual, I was just excited to travel, that's why I became a traveling merchant. I ain't lookin' for fame, or riches, just a bit of adventure I guess.
