Tetralyna looked at him, bemused; In her eyes, the human looked crude, his clothing badly cut and made. She looked behind him and to the city – the bazaars nearby looked disorderly, chaotic just as the houses looked run-down and shabby. ‘Humanity truly knows not how to make a paradise...’ She thought in disgust. “Hail, human!” She replied to the gentleman in a somewhat condescending voice. “Who might you be, to stand before Tetralyna Laerinlora of the High Elves?”
”I am Morishu, a merchant of the merchant’s guild; pleased to make your acquaintance.” Morishu bowed. “I simply like to look around the docks for newcomers...potential trade opportunities, you see. As for you?”
“I am, as aforementioned, Tetralyna of the minor clan Laerinlora, master of the fine and performing arts. I have come to educate humanity on the ways of the refined!”
Morishu held back a laugh, his face sagging with the effort. “Now now, Tetralyna, you need not do so...we are happy as we are, I daresay. Would you mind if I showed you the wonders of this city?”
Tetralyna hesitated for a moment, but obliged.
