Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Taken aback by the old womans words, Learza looks down to pause and think about where to begin her tale whilst she takes a seat. At the flicker of a candle light, she starts to inhale and tell her tale... "My name is Learza, i am a travelling high elf. I come from far lands and have travelled many distances to find a safe place to call home." Learza takes a moment to think about what she wishes to share with this unknown old lady. She looks down and continues. "Some years ago, i lost those i once called family to a great fire. Since then i have followed roads and tales to start a new life..." Learza looks up to meet the old lady's eyes. "My home was small... But it was peacefull and safe from harm. Regardless, there are many things in this world that do not like the idea of such a place existing." Her eyes dart outside the tent whilst she takes a deep breath. "I suppose the only reason i am alive today, would be thanks to the sacrifices my family made for me..." She continues. "These goat horns..." She fidles with the tip of the right horn on her head. "A trophy i earned from my first hunt with my mother whilst i was younger. I will keep them with me forever, that way i have the sense that i am not alone. And that i am still loved." Learza's eyes widen a bit as if she just realised something. She directs her eyes back to the old lady. "Perhaps it might be time for me to find that again..Love..."
