    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When information or such is given to a character in order to give them an edge up in the role play universe, I.E someone messages you to tell you you are going to get raided. Being given knowledge you're character has no way of knowing.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: counterintuitive shortcuts through the roleplay, in other words, making your character do things they would not/should not be able to do, I.E *steals all of your money and runs away before you can catch me*

Guy Netsu is a half-elf half-farfolk human swordsman who wanders the world in search a purpose. Born in a small village on the outer isles of Atlas, he was son to a strong elvish archer and a magic casting mother. All of his life he felt secluded from his mother and father, and put all his faith into his brother, 5 years older then he and an expert at wielding a blade. But when he was 12, his brother was murdered in the middle of the night. When the village awoke to the news, they immediately pointed there fingers at guy, the black sheep of the family, the soul with no way, the forsaken and un-forgiven. They immediately imprisoned the young boy for what was to be the remainder of his life. But on the year mark of his brothers passing, he managed to get his hands on a guards sword and, summoning up every ounce of unforgiven fury he had, sliced through the bars that locked him in the room where his only comfort was the distant memory of a man who everyone now thought he betrayed.

He only killed 3 people on his way to leave the village, at the young age of 13. His mother and his father for turning their backs on him, and the child that he used to be.

as he ran from the people who he used to call his, he saw a boat that possessed a sword. Caught in the sheath of the sword was a piece of his brothers robe. In another blaze of blind fury, he swam all the way back to the mainland and has been following the trail of his brothers killer ever since.
A few years down the road, he is now 18 and has wound up in the land of Arcas, in the Princedom of fenn, with much wisdom in the way of the sword and a rumor in the wind that someone here might know where his brothers killer went.
A quivering ball of fury, Guy Netsu longs for the day when his blade crosses with that of his brothers killer, because on that day he knows he may possibly see his brother again.

Physical Description: A slim built young man with long, light brown hair tied into a bun, brown eyes and no scars or markings
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Hey! I just want to say your application by far ticks all of our criteria, the two issues have arose which needs to be fixed, placing in location of a settlement/nation or event and removing the “swinging so hard it conjures tornadoes”.

  1. Putting in at least one location, from an settlement/nation/event within the biography.
  2. Removing any sense of magic or ‘special snowflake’ ability such as conjuring tornadoes in the biography.

That is all you have to do!
