Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Makko, with his bow loaded with an arrow aiming at her, slowly puts down his guard

"You know me?"

The hag smiles "Oh I am getting to, young man..."

"Then what do you mean by expecting me?" Makko replies

"I see it in your eyes, a wandering soul unaware of his calling...years I've been waiting for such eyes, now sit down, and tell me about yourself."

Makko decides to put down his bow completely and sit down in front of her, it doesn't hurt to have someone to talk to anyway, plus he's still got his dagger on him so he's not too worried

"...My name is Makko Iwan, son of Iwan Rudo, demons have destroyed my homeland and now my people are scattered across the world, looking for refuge...as I am."
