You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example:

Eldric slowly stepping into the tent, the damp air thick with the smell rotting wood and wet moss. The candles flicker, casting a ominous shadow around the hag. “What brings you to this dingy town?” she asks, her voice mimicking the creaking of tree Then she pauses, her eyes narrowing. “Now... Tell me your story.” Without flinching Eldric steps forward. Slowly lowering himself onto the worn cushion she gestures to. “I am Eldric Emberveil,” he said adjusting himself in his seat. “I come from the Highlands, from a proud line, but that name means nothing now.”

He glance around the tent, the flickering candlelight reminding me of the fires of battle.. “But I lost everything. My father, my honour both died in that distant land. I was too late… too weak to stop it. And when the clan was scattered, Now i am nothing” The hag says nothing, but her gaze remains fixed on me, unblinking.

“I’ve wandered ever since,” He said "Looking for something to rebuild, something to prove I’m still worthy." Her eyes narrow, as though seeing through me. “And what will you do now?” I meet her gaze. “I’ll find a way to bring my honor back from the ashes dragging it screaming out of that hellhole it has died in. Even if it kills me.” As Eldric blinked he slowly shot up then back down as the chair he had sat on the dreary trent had been replaced by the air the hag was gone her mysteries still unravelled. "A strange lands these are." Eldric said before walking off to go restore what was once lost.
