    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information your character does not know for example when you know that a major army is marching towards you with the aim of killing you - you may not summon an army to fight back.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When roleplaying - either doing something which oyou couldn't do such as running faster than an arrow or when you do an action which will affect someone else and they have no choice in what to do.

Amroth is a wood elf with a strong sense of family. He is originally from Gladewynn and is travelling the world hoping to settle down in another city and meet new friends. He is 30 and although a grown up is not ‘wise beyond his years’. He likes to dip into elven history as it make him feel more ‘wise’. Secretly though without knowing he is very practical. He is a vegetarian although he can kill an animal if needed. He is not a vegan. His best fighting skill is his archery which he learned from his father. He doesn’t like to use his bow unneccessarily. He likes to run as it make him feel free and alive and has practised running from an early age. He is proud to be an elf and is also proud of his family and hopes to impress them. His idol is Phaedrus who created Laureh’lin.

Physical Description: Amroth is a wood elf with blue eyes, olive brown skin and brown hair. His right arm has a green cape over it and he wear dark grey clothes. I'm 5"6
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
