Thalin Earthenshield, born in Kal' Nerroth, was one of the best miners around. He was good at finding all sorts of ores, and later started forging weapons and tools for himself. However, he never took a liking to combat and preferred to live deep in the earth, always mining and forging new items for himself, and for others, for a price. He eventually started selling his ore and quickly became well - to - do. He built himself a new home in the Jade Peaks, and was usually at the forefront of dwarven mining technology. However, in a later mining expedition, there was a massive cave-in, burying the entire cavern, and he barely made it out alive.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
