APPEARANCE
Gideon looks young, perhaps only about the age one might be considered a young adult. He has pale skin, almost ghostly. The sun seems to not have touched it often. He has blue, silverish eyes, full of life, though seemingly always aimed at the ground before him. His jet-black hair is long- not reaching his shoulders, but still longer than usual. He wears a dark grey tunic, with light grey pants and black leather boots. The tunic is long enough to cover his belt buckle and around his neck, a light grey scarf is tied. He has minimal armor: only two iron pauldrons strapped to his shoulders. Around his head is a silver crown-like band, with a blue gem in the middle that glows with arcane energies. Did he bring this with him, or buy this? It doesn't look like he knows how to harness any magic it contains...
HISTORY
Gideon hails from Santegia, where he lived a generally average life. He received training in swordsmanship, though he never quite got the hang of it. The arcane was what truly interested him. He spent much of his time reading of the arcane and other magics, and working as a scribe through his teenage years. Now, he has come of age, and has set out to become a mage. Arcanism is what truly amazes him, the idea of casting forth energies that glow like the moon is otherwordly and fascinating to him. The path he seeks is that of an arcanist, though he is certainly interested in evocation as well.
PERSONALITY
Gideon, being young and inexperienced, is rather shy. He is prone to stuttering when he speaks, especially when nervous or excited. And when he does speak, he usually doesn't initiate conversations. He acts aloof and is perfectly fine with being alone, though he's not entirely antisocial. He'd certainly open up more to somebody he knew and trusted.
