    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using OOC knowledge for IC purposes. If I find out from my buddy on discord that Player C has 50 gold and I go up to Player C ingame and say "Hand over 50 gold right now!" - that would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing an action upon another. If I emote *Jack II cuts Player C hand off*, this would be powergaming as I did not allow Player C time to react at all.

As Jack II stepped off he stumbles a bit on land, he never really experienced being seasick before. As he regained his posture he turned to he well-dressed gentlemen nodding to him " I am just looking around Sir, thank you for the concern but I just wish to explore my surroundings first" he dipped his head politely before walking off into the sprawling bazaar.
