You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He sits down with a small tankard of beer before starting "I left my home town to to pursue my greater love of building. Unfortunately it isn't going well. That was until I heard about Nevaehlen. I'm headed there but thought I'd stop here to stock up on supplies and see if I can find anyone else to help me or perhaps join me on my journey. I came from a land far far away but I was exiled due to my love for building which was not supported in my family and in the village. Every typical elf was expected to become a ranger but I didn't want to. So when I voiced my love for building they kicked me out. " He takes a long swig of the beer and says "Well I'd best be off. Nice talking to you."
He nods to the old hag and leaves the tent. He looks around his surroundings before turning to leave to leave the town in search of Nevaehlen.
