Myyrdin dwelt in the lush depths of Linandria for the majority of his youth. His youth being occupied primarily with learning the bowyers trade from his father. Once he completed his apprenticeship he plied his trade in his father's small shop selling various bows ranging from a small children's short bow to massive long bows wrought from fine yew. Myyrdin filled his spare time hunting. Attempting to supplement his modest income by selling the pelts of whatever fauna he managed to fell in the woods. It was in these activities that he spent his days leading a modest life. Occasionally he would participate in the defence of the woodland realm when it was harassed by Orcs or Human raiders. Once the realm began to decay under the onslaught of mysterious forces Myyrdin accompanied his kin over the sea, fleeing to the new realm of Atlas.

Upon arriving in Atlas, the bearded elf settled in the Dominion, establishing the Faraleian Bowyer and Fletchery. The his Father's extended age led to him remaining behind in Axios, having succumbed to the elements as they attempted to depart. Myyrdin gets by in the absence of his father, occasionally saying a prayer for his father when he has an idle moment. He labours to improve his trade and make up for the loss of his father's mastery.

Myyrdin is a very humble elf, his love of nature manifesting in his very close relationship and reliance upon it. Myyrdin attempts to live in harmony with nature taking only what he needs and giving back what he can. His gait is heavier than most of his more graceful kin, a particularly tender point of ridicule that has dogged him most of his life. He has been ascribed and occasionally mocked for being too 'humanlike'. This fact being emphasized by the incessant almost weedlike quality of his facial hair which is an additional sore point. Myyrdin generally avoids socializing or contact with his fellows due to prolonged negative interactions. Thus he is a quite soul prone to few words that prefers his solitude. Myyrdin is happiest when hunting alone or working in his shop crafting various bows.
