Biography

Born and raised in Helena, the capital of Renatus, Hadrian Wykeham is a man of Heartlandish background. His father was a vendor, always searching for goods to sell back home. Hadrian would often embark on ventures abroad with his father. With his open mindset, Hadrian would soon get to know different cultures and races alike. Due to his mothers absence on the journeys abroad, Hadrian was left in the care of his strict father, who had high hopes that his son would one day take his increasingly successful business over and thus, continuing this ancient family tradition. Despite this, Hadrian was never a fan of the business his father was running. All he ever wanted was freedom to do what he wanted.

 

Mere days after Hadrians 16th birthday, his father fell ill, leaving him in an unstoppable state of decay. Knowing that it was too late for his father, Hadrian was stranded in small town he had never heard of before. Not knowing how he would get back home to his mother, he started offering his services as a sellsword in major cities. He was quickly becoming a renowned swordsman, taking on for different people all over Arcas and its Kingdoms. Hadrian would fight in large conflicts and wars alike, always striving for knowledge and wealth. It is this that drives him forward to pursue the unknown.

Physical Description: Hadrian is seen as a 5'10, fairly muscular built human with messy hair and a well kept beard. He commonly wears a rugged cape over his clothing.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
