    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It's when you use an action and don't let the other person respond. Ex Diane picks up Carter and kills him instantly.

Rowan Melinda Washington was born on August 23rd... she developed her mother's beauty (Melinda)  and her father's (Sebastian) wit and stealthiness, along with her two older brothers, Daniel and Zackary. They were both Hunters so they weren't home very often. She had a very small family, including her grandparents (Bethany and John). But the family grew even smaller when one night, Zack went out hunting during a huge raid and had gotten killed in cold blood... it took years for her mother to recover but it took Rowan a short time to realize that he was never going to get him back. Rowan was 11 at the time of her brother Zack's death, now she is 17... She lives with her grandparents with her mother while her father and brother hunt down the man who had killed Zackary. Rowan grew to like using a bow and arrow but for protection and practice, not violence, she'd rather use book smarts than street smarts. But now, her mother has grown ill, surprisingly not her grandparents, so now she has to find money to buy medicine and help with the farm. She's hurt and she can't help herself because she's helping the ones she hurting... Her ancestors have been said to be the original story-tellers of the ancient lore of the four brothers. Some even say, they were the four brothers, or close friends to them. <--- lore from

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
