Xander was born and raised in the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska on a small family farm. His grandparents came into possession of the farm during the Pertinaxian Period, under Sigmar’s rule. Xander lived with his mother and father, and two older brothers, they were all very close. He spent most of his childhood playing in a nearby forest with his brothers and friends, and playing Haeseni Chess. He also helped around the farm with crops and taking care of animals. His father often sent him to carry messages to others, so he learned how to ride a horse. His brothers taught him how to fight, though he never needed to use this skill. Throughout his childhood Xander went to school where he learned how to read and write, as well as basic math and history. Xander loved his home and family, but he had always wanted to travel the world and see what else was out there. So when his father told him that his eldest brother was to inherit the farm, he was happy and relieved. He knew that his brother would take good care of the farm and their parents. As soon as Xander was old enough, he said his goodbyes and set out to explore, knowing that his family would be okay without him.
Stepping off of the ship, Xander was captivated by the by the missive city, and immediately started walking towards it. Then he heard the mans voice, and stopped, looking over at the him. Xander was surprised someone had decided to talk to him, and didn’t answer at first, as if to make sure the man was really speaking to him.
“Oh hello!” he finally replied, “I guess you could say I’m here for adventure, I left my home to travel around the world.”
