Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
*Grimm sits down looking skeptic on if he should tell the hag but he eventually decided to tell* "My name is Grimm Goldcrest I was a peaceful man, a happy man, just living my life in a small fishing village and one night I decided to go out a little farther out on my fishing trip, putting my village well out of sight, I was out on the water for a few hours or so until, I saw the smoke, giant plums of black smoke coming from my village. There had been a rouge group of bandits that stumbled upon the village by complete coincidence and the decided to raid it and after they were done the set every house ablaze with every sleeping man, women and child trapped in their houses as it burned including my family. Once I had finally made it back to the village in my boat, I found my house a burning pile of ash and I didn't want to look through the rubble fearing what I might find. By now people from neighboring villages had started to arrive to help but it was no use, I was the only one of my village still alive and I vowed to slaughter every single bandit responsible for the destruction of my village and the murder of my friends and family. I was seen off by the people of the other villages who gave me about a months worth of supply of food and water. As I set off I burnt down every single bandit outpost I saw after questioning the bandits but to this day I have not found a single one of the bandits responsible for my families murder, so I am still looking, hoping for the chance to find these bandits and make them pay." *Grimm looks at the hag waiting for her reply.*
