Born in a far away land Carlo ventured to the continent with the desire to discover new cultures and history as well as running a tavern were all could share their tales and have them be remembered arriving on the islands to the south of the continent.
Both his parents were merchants at a major port meaning Carlo often saw all sorts of people from a variety of places and became enthralled with their histories and tales. Growing up Carlo was heavily raised on the ideals of it didn't matter what race you were or where you came from, only what you have done. He was also raised of tales long before both his and his parents time often asking questions which the answers to were lost to history. When he heard of The Empire of Man he was very confused by their ideals and hatred of other races, considering he had both seen and heard the amazing things that those races had done. At the age of 20 he boarded a ship setting sail for the continent that he heard The Empire of man was from seeing it as a perfect place to start his work and exploration.
it was a new dawn as Carlo began preparing the tavern for its customers, bringing up new kegs throwing out the empty ones and setting the tables. He then walked over to the door unlocking it it and opening it wit a smile with his face as he greeted the customers. "welcome, welcome come in, come in, what can I get you today". His accent was heavy and his tone like a gentle breeze welcoming you home. An older elf step inside, their hair white like silver. ""Hi, just a water for the moment if that's fine". Her voice was like a soft forests melody. "One water coming up, could I ask your name?" Carlo inquired as he grabbed a mug beginning to fill it with water from one of the barrels before othering her the mug. "Yavanna, Yavanna Amakiir". She said as she took the mug from him taking a sip. "A pleasure to meet you Yavanna". From their they talked long through the days sharing stories of their past, and as the day ended and the elf left on her journeys Carlo added another persons story to the shelf.
