How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player that knows something about the world, etc uses it as if his character knows it which could be false. For example, a player that i know tell me (out of character) about his plan to attack someplace and I use my character to warn them of the danger, that would be metagaming.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player gives his character too much power that makes it unfair. For example, having a character born as a son of deity with a power such as being able to kill the people with a simple touch.

Your application has been put on pending as there are changes needing to be made before you may be accepted, as follows:

› Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions both need 1 example to be added to them.

› Have you ever roleplayed before?

› Your Personality Traits/Quirks need to include at least one negative trait. This can be anything that is a fault in their personality.

Q: I don't quite catch the use of emotes since I can't test it as a soul and I would like to know how they work.

A; Emoting is a system! A hard one at that but here is the basic run down:

#rp outs you in roleplay, #q puts you in quiet roleplay, #w puts you in whisper roleplay, and #s PUTS YOU IN SHOUT! To do actions you can put a * in front of your emote. Quotes around the words you say out loud! To talk out of character its #ooc for global chat, #looc for local ooc, #qooc for quiet ooc, so on and so forth! You can always make a /creq asking for more help!

If you do not make these changes within 24 hours, your application will be denied. When you are finished, please message me on Discord zuziee#4323 to let me know, or if you don’t have a Discord, send me a forum message, and please do ask if you have any questions. If you still need help, make sure to check the wiki, and I highly recommend joining the LotC Discord as well.
