In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When someone uses oorp info that their oc wouldn't know (e.g. By reading messages when their oc was not nearby, *coincidentally* walking towards a situation of conflict when their oc wasn't anywhere near it, etc.)
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When people try to one up each other in a fight (e.g. *OC 1 attacks OC 2 over and over again, OC 2 just keeps one upping OC 1 by counter-attacking, dodging, etc.*)

It starts in his rural village of Viscus, a humble fishing village located off the shores of Hanseti-Ruska. He was quite strange for a boy his age all his life, he had been a wimpish boy with no strength, being bullied by his piers for being "Girl-y". He changed his mind at the ripe age of 14, wanting to finally become masculine and to prove all those that doubted him wrong. He failed. A lot. But he persevered despite the backlash of his failures from his friends. He grew stronger, refining his technique, wanting to better himself

He had a single mother his whole life, the reason being she was knocked up by her young lover at the time before dashing. His mother had said he went off to fight in some big war, but even then he couldn't forgive the man. He thought it was ridiculous. It seemed as if his mother almost blamed Allius for the disappearance, not many people were drafted to fight against the Scyflings in these parts, most who went chose to go willingly, whether for the money or fame. Allius constantly thought to himself "Was I the reason he left?". Even if his mother gazed at him with slight regret, he knew she loved him. And that alone got him through those thoughts.

His town was highly religious, and by default so was he. Like most in the Hanseti-Ruska kingdom, he followed the Church of the Canon, following its beliefs as those around him taught. There was a small town built Church near his house, so whenever he could he'd go to thank The Creator for his blessings upon this world, and Allius himself. During his self-excile, he still followed his beliefs, if not his faith of god dwaining just a little.

The blacksmith's name was Perrenium. Perrenium accepted him finally, after 2 years of turning him down. He was quite a skilled blacksmith, being taught under the Mountain Dwarves of high peaks. Over the next 3 years, Perrenium helped to refine Allius' forging skills to what he considered "Good enough". Countless hours of training, years of smithing later, and he finally was near the end of his apprenticeship.

At this point Perrenium was like the father he never had, mentoring him to become the best version of himself. But on the day of his supposed graduaton from the apprenticeship, where he would officially be a blacksmith, he failed completely. The test was a combination of various skills for smithing, seeing if he had honed his swords to near perfection. But unfortunately, due to the interference of a mysterious force, he failed completely. Allius tried to justify his failure, blaming it on magic forces. Perrenium laughed in his face, disappointed in his apprentice. He sent him off from his village. He returned home to his mother, who he thought would support him. Unluckily for him, she did not. She screamed and rambled at Allius, the words twisting and tumbling as Allius fought back tears. The last words he heard from his mother was "I wish you were never born!".This brings him to where we are today, 2 months later. As he left his hometown, he thought to himself "Why has the creator cursed me as such?"  He had been travelling on the road for a while now, looking for redemption, yet also a place free from people he couldn't disappoint. 271049_gRLE4p2B.png

Character Name: Allius
Character Race: Human
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 20
Physical Description: He's decently bulky, since he works under the forge quite often. He's around 5'9 with bushy brows and ear-length hair, just brushing past his eyes.
Roleplay Scenario:

Allius would greet him with a smile, giddy from this. As a rural farmboy, he'd never dreamed of going to something like *this*. He responds with "I want true freedom." He'd say cheerfully. After having a nice conversation with the man, the boy would move onto the bustling market, ready to experience the true big city lifestyle.
