Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Freya stiffened under the hag’s piercing gaze, her boots damp with the swamp’s muck. She lowered her hood, revealing sharp emerald eyes. “My story is not one of choice,” she said softly, voice laced with sorrow, “but of being driven here by loss.”
Freya was abandoned as a child at the edge of the Elven forests, with no memory of her parents. She grew up fending for herself, learning to survive on wit and instinct. The woods became both her home and her teacher, shaping her into a resilient and resourceful young elf.
