    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: From the definition provided, powergaming seems to me to be self-centeredness. Avoiding powergaming means focusing on others' experiences on the server as well as yours, and being considerate of others while playing. As I see it, everyone needs to focus on remembering that this game is supposed to be a source of enjoyment and relaxation for everyone. Let yourself enjoy it, but don't let yourself enjoying it keep others from enjoying it.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts roleplay by providing an unfair advantage and experience to the utilizer. It damages the roleplay experience for all those involved and can change the course of a storyline that would've otherwise gone a different direction. An example would be utilizing a weakness someone spoke about their character having to you personally in a battle. Their character could lose the fight due to this act of cheating.

Physical Description: Taller stature for a human, standing slightly above 6'0" tall. Relatively thin but muscular, weighing 175 pounds. Blond, wavy hair. Green eyes.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Joshua enters the tent cautiously, analyzing the surrounding darkness in each corner of the tent. “I don’t know why I’m here,” he admits, sitting down slowly, “The path just… led me.” His gaze narrows, studying her face. After a moment of pause, he adds, "But I'm beginning to suspect you know more about my journey than I do.".
