    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Where you use information gained from an out of character source, and use it in character and in game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: *Joffrey would rip out your eyes and eat them in front of you* You cannot apply permanent effects to other folks charters, like ripping limbs off and the like. Can also apply to structures and lore environment.

Galen is a Heartlander, he grew up in the Kingdom of Santegia and liked to enjoy the market areas most. He grew up as a commoner, but that didnt stop him from participating in keeping "in the know" of the cities politics, and nobility. Galen had a knack for guessing which Lord would assume certain roles in the Kingdom, and would frequently win small sums of money with this when betting amoungst friends.

 

His family were tradesmen, mostly middlemen. They would take goods and crafts from the farmers and selling them at market for a small mark-up. Galen worked on the street carts mostly growng up where he met a lot of the regular folks. He never truley felt comfortable with the commoners and always secretly wanted to rise above his status.. but.. dreams were dreams, and reality put him back at his seller cart every morning.

 

After he grew to a teen, he moved from the carts to selling at the stall in the main market. From there he grew to be a rather confident, and capabale salesman. His father recognized this, and gave Galen a pay raise. After saving enough money, Galen went to a tutor to learn how to read and write in a basic form..  During his classes he met the woman of his dreams; Martha. They got married and had two kids together. Xavier and Scout.  

 

Galen was a Red Faith believer, and thinks the Norlander way is far more appealing than listening to the prattles of High clement the II.  He didn't put much in faith in the ways of god.. but he had it in his back pocket for if and when being devout came.. supe useful amoung the zelot crowd.

 

Galen grew weary of not having any sword training.. and wanted to be able to protect his family.. so he took himself and his young son Xavier to a formal swordman teach to learn the basics of combat... Now Galen wants to move into local politics.. We'll see how it goes.

Character Age: 30
Physical Description: Average sized, brown hair, blue eyes. Nothing much to look at.. more or less an average human specimen. He would wear plain cloths, and casual dress.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

-Lord of the Craft has entirely separate lore from the Lord of the Rings world, therefore your character having been born in Gondor would not make sense. Please take a look at the wiki here and choose a human nation to replace this.

-Your bio must also include one piece of server lore in it, this could be the nation he was born or where he currently lives. Use the wiki link I've already provided and add a piece of lore.

-I see you have marked that you haven't read the server rules. Make sure you read over the server rules before joining that way you won't do anything that could result in a ban.

Your application has been ACCEPTED! Good job friend now all you need to do is wait to be implemented. During your wait I would suggest looking at the wiki page and learning more about the lore of the server. Here’s the link (LotC Wiki)
