You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*He sat down a bit uncomfortably shifting constantly trying to find the right spot but never quite finding it* "Oh uh- don't have one yet not a real one in any sense. That's why I came out here farming is nice and fun and all, but I ain't got half a hand full of an idea what the rest of the world is like. *He'd say the last bit shrugging a bit.* "I should've probably said I was a farmer first, and well I suppose that mostly that I was raised by loving parents never left more than a few miles from home to forage or go on local hunting trips. Sorry if it wasn't what you expected I'm a bit boring but hopefully I'll be exciting soon and have a better story to tell! A few travelers would always tell me stories of monsters and magic it just seemed so much more exciting. *he sighed falling back into the cushion keeping his head up to retain eye contact* "I mean how long can one guy farm or go mushroom picking in the same patch a land. Is there anything else ya need to know? Because I really ought to get on my way unless there is something exciting going on here that is."

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Either ignore them or report em or just tell em what they are doing is wrong.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It breaks my immersion if 'Dan' is being killed and 'Dan's' player tells his friend to bring his army of friends to save him how did that many people just know what was going on it doesn't make sense. It's like if Treebeard went to war with Isengard while not knowing about him chopping the forest down.
