Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Kallen carelessly plopped down onto the nearest cushion, sitting cross-legged and leaned herself forward. She cupped her face and brandished a crooked grin.
"Really, now? You act as if I'm some grand hero with tales of adventure." She chuckled. "I'm sorry to break to you, but I'm no hero. I'm more of a..."
Her voice trailed off. Letting a few moments pass, she averted her gaze and gave the entire room a once-over. It was clear that her analysis of the room wasn't out of mere curiosity; She was assessing every item's financial value. In the end there didn't seem to be anything of worth.
Kallen clicked her tongue in distaste, both due to disgust and annoyance. You'd think the mysterious all-knowing lady would have some kind of magical item lying around.
All of a sudden-- Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a small critter scurrying past. The girl decided to redirect herself back to the conversation, another smile tugging at her lips.
"...Rat. I'm more like a rat than a hero. A chivalrous man would go out of his way to defend his country. Save the innocent. Fight for glory. But me?"
Getting up from her seat, Kallen snuck a hand into her back pocket and loomed over the lady.
"I don't do stories. I just do what it takes to survive."
A beat passed. Underneath the fabric of her tunic displayed a glimpse of something sharp. Metallic.
"So. Do you have anything valuable on hand?"
