Orla was born to two loving but strict parents in the Orcish Badlands to a minor clan. She was raised alongside her older sister, who ended up dying in a border skirmish with another clan. Before that had happened though, Orla never felt comfortable being an orc as she felt she had to be strong when all she wanted was to read her scavenged books. For some reason the curse put upon Krug’s ancestors seemed to skip her. Due to her reluctance to be a ‘proper orc’ most children her age didn’t want to hang out with her. Her sister stood up for her whenever she was bullied but one day Orla got sick of it. She started paying attention during spars learning techniques and trying to build muscle mass. However she was never able to properly gain enough strength to fight them and she never seemed to grow as big as the others. She instead opted for long range weapons and traps. After another one of her bullies broke a bone from having fallen into one of her many traps, they finally left her alone. A year after her sister died she couldn’t handle being alone and decided to leave on her eighteenth birthday, her parents were dismayed as they though it was just a phase but they still helped her leave. She remembered her sister told her As she traveled she forgoes her usually orc wear and wears more of what other races would wear, but she never got used to shoes.
Orla stops dead in her tracks, her mind in a flurry. She takes a deep breath to center herself before putting in order what she was going to say in her head. “Oh um... I left my clan because I didn’t feel like a true orc. And now I just want to be free? I don’t know what I really want to do I just really needed to get away from my clan and live a little...” She looks down and shuffles her feet hoping she hadn’t already messed up.
(Quick note, the skin I added hasn’t been shaded because I wanted to make sure that it didn’t need to be changed before I committed to it.)
(Also the box for meta-gaming kept cutting off my reply so here’s the full thing: Meta-gaming is how a character would get information that was only obtained by the player that they couldn't have known themselves. For example if a player read in a characters bio that the character was a sociopath but their character couldn't then treat them as a sociopath.)
