Karzarg was born into a simple family of orcs. His parents had 3 Children before him. Mazel, his oldest sister. Arius, his brother and Kartaz, his youngest sister. His parents were hunters for the small village they lived in. His mother Halta was an extremely good huntress because of her skills with bow and arrow while his father Kirtur was a master with the dagger, sometimes hunting only using it because he had no arrows left. They both trained all their children their skills, so they could keep on hunting when their parents might be gone one day.
The family was under control of a wealthy man, who owned the land they where hunting and living in. After several bad hunting seasons, he decided to sell Mazel and Arius off as snaga to San’Strok.
At the age of 16, Karzarg got a horrible disease. They didn’t know what it was but he was starting to tic from time to time. This made him quite unpopular in his village but his parents still cared for him. Because of it, the people starte only calling him Karzag the mad.
One day, when he was 21, he went hunting with his father and brother. While hunting he had one of his tics. He screamed so the whole forest could hear. His father was concerned about his child. He was afraid he couldn’t handle hunting because of his disease. One day short after several similar events, his father talked to him.
They decided that Karzarg needed to find a way of handling his illness. So he began to worship the spirits for their help. When this didn't worked he started to raise some money by doing tricks on the market with his acrobatic skills.
About 3 years later he had enough money to go out into the world on his own, to find someone who could help him with his disease. He decided to search a Dragaar and seek his wisdom and knowledge. He hoped, a Dragaar could be a chance to become sound again.
At the age of 26 he was kidnapped while traveling through the woods. A bandit clan called the shadows of Utriel robbed him. After a failed attempt to fight back, they saw his potential as a fighter and sold him off as a slave assassin. By this, he became part of a gang called the blood wolfs. He had to follow them and kill for them by using his training with bow and arrow and the dagger.
One day however, when he was 34, they had enough of him because of his disease. He was a matchless fighter and quite a good assassin, at least because of his quite unwilling gift of distraction due to his tics, but he also was quite annoying and the gang decided to leave him behind. First they wanted to kill him but then they decided to spare his life, because of the good work he had done over the years. However, they didn’t leave him with any possessions, because after all, he only was a slave.
With no money, and no job, he started searching for work as an accomplice for other mercenaries, doing what he was best at: Distraction. Because he was all alone, he decided to search for his siblings in San’Strok and start a new gang together with them. While traveling and working he had never forgotten his aim of finding a Dragaar that could help him with his disease.
I stop, thankful to have someone to talk to. “Hello. I’m searching for a place to rest. Where can I find the nearest tavern?” Trying not to raise attention I hide my tic under great concentration. The gentleman shows me the way to the tavern. “Thank you.” I say before rushing away. starting to twitch my head because of the tic around the next corner.
