    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meta gaming is useing information you did not get in character and useing it as such example being you say someones name you did not get in character
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing another character to do something that would not be able to do as there character an example being john shoots jerry in the eye with a crossbow instead of aiming at him in that area

Varin Riverwind was a curious boy in his early years being born in the capital city of Caras Elder the capital of the elven kingdom in the Irrinor district with all of the other wood elf kin that grew up with him. He spent most studying herbs and animals in the nearby forest’s his parents mostly left him to his devices and although he wasn't as social as his other wood elven brother’s he continued to study anything he could about animals and plants and history learning about potion brewing hunting. He learned about there people along with there devout love of there nature gods and malin. He enjoyed his peaceful time he spent here studying although some of the other elves picked on him for not interacting with his other young elf kin he mostly ignored them staying either in the wooded area sounding the town hunting and befriending many beasts there. He would live there for many years until he eventually learned enough and decided to roam the lands staying in the area of the druid grove and continuing to study nature there.

Physical Description: Varin is a tall and lanky (ft6,1) wood elf with Dark Olive skin green eyes and brown short hair who walks with a slight limp
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

For the following reasons,

  • Your powergaming example could get a bit of an improvement, it is important to show you understand the concept.
  • Your biography is really good but it needs some work on the lore. Wood Elves have not had a war with High Elves in some time, make sure you read up some lore and make it appropriate for your character’s age. The following links can help you out.
  • Your description and skin are not appropriate with your race, wood elves usually have dark skin tones, between the following ranges. 
    • Wood elves are more easily distinguished from their other elven cousins by their dark skin, this can range anywhere from olive to cinnamon to a dark brown.
  • Your interesting facts need to follow the following format
    • Positive (Strenght, skill, ability)
    • Neutral (Personality trait, likes, dislikes)
    • Negative (Weakness, Flaw)

Make sure you make these corrections on the following 24 hours
