    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: The use or abuse of information outside of your character's knowledge. An example of metagaming is looking at a video of someone playing on the server and showing were there secret stash is. Then you sneak into there base as your PC and find the secret stash using the knowledge from the video.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Doing things outside of your characters realistic capabilities. An example of power gaming is having a character that has skin as hard as bedrock and can't be damaged.

I laugh with the glint of adventure in my eye, the ghost of my passed shining through. "I know that look anywhere! You're looking for adventure, a vast world to explore and great lands to conquer!". The man had a grin on his faced that reflected the generosity I haven't seen since my mother's passing.  "Absolutely right, sir. Do you know where I could find a job?" I replied. The man points to a large building in the center of the town, elevated on some hills. "Over there is the townhall, you'll find jobs of glory and wealth there. Good luck on your journey young lad!". I make my way toward the townhall with what little I have in my sack on my shoulder.
