Thaln Ravencaller is born in the streets of Kal’Tarak. As a beardling Thaln Ravencaller, son of Thon Ravencaller, Thaln was an orphan who dwingeled among the mountain dwarves as his father had died in an orc ambush. Thaln earned his gold by working at a smith and smithing armor and weapons for dwarven soldiers. As he got to hear about major battles the dwarves fought, 89 year old Thaln got interested in joining the dwarven armies. But to do that he had to leave his master smith who had become his father by now(and who gave him the drinking-of-ale-addiction), so he decided not to join the army and so he showed his respect and love for his master. 20 years later there was need for a smith to go with a batalion of soldiers into the wild, so Thaln and his master, who was called bron Hammerbreaker, voluntered to go with the soldiers. One night at the encampment, there was an orc attack. The batalion was not prepared for he overwelming forces of orcs, so they had to retreat but before Thaln and Bron could escape a pale orc grabbed Bron’s leg, pushed him to the ground and slit his wrist throat. Thaln was devestated by the death of his father figure and wanted to kill this pale orc so he grabbed two axes he made himself and started to make his way tot his pale orc by slaying and cutting through 2 heavely armored orcs. The soldiers were impressed and motivated to fight back against the orcs with such cunning skill, they actually beat them. But it was a phyrric victory as they lost ¾ of the batalion and Bron was dead aswell. Thaln sworn on that day that he would avenge the death of his mentor by killing every last orc, even the army could not hold him back. Son now 31 years later he is 140 year old and ready with his training in Kal’Tarak to go out into the wild and take revenge.
